History
Galawa marine services was registered under the business names act cap 499 of the laws of Kenya in the year 2003 as a partnership. By May 2005 the firm was appointed ship contractors by DELMAS (K) LTD, CMA CGM (K) LTD and by 2005 we were handling both European and Asia lines for these agents. In 2010 the firm also got appointed ship contractor for EVERGREEN KENYA LTD AND WAN HAI LINE LTD. We have maintained good services to these companies and still have capacity for more

Partnership
This twelve year old firm is headed by four partners who are also the directors of the firm. The partners have an equal share of the company’s assets and liabilities. They have all fulfilled the requirements by the Domestic Taxes Department.The partners brought together their vast experience in the shipping industry as they have worked in various positions within the industry.The four partners are guided and bound by a partnership deed which was compiled by the Khaminwa &Khaminwa advocates 0n 4/10/2005.
Charles T. Olengo
He is the head of expedition crew. He makes sure unnecessary delays are avoided during discharge and loading of containers. He co-ordinates with supervisors to see that the delays are minimal. He makes sure that the yards are updated with loading lists and allocations are made correctly to avoid shifting in the yard.
Onesmus M. Mulwa
He is specialized in planning the ships and are in charge of bay clerks who make sure that every container is positioned in allocated slot. He is in charge of all supervisors on board and make sure that every accident and incident is reported and recorded by the chief officer on duty and KPA supervisor for future references. In order to save on the liabilities caused on the side of the ship by KPA personnel.
Frank F. Kimosho

He is in charge of general administration and office logistics. He works closely with the company accountant to make sure the company runs smoothly. He is also in charge of debt collection as well as employees welfare.
